Halloween Events In and Around Estrella

Goodyear Ballpark Fall Festival
This family-friendly event is conveniently located just down the hill from Estrella. The festival features a trick-or-treat village, costume contests, pumpkin patch, haunted house, and petting zoo. The contest starts at 6:30pm and prizes will be awarded in various costume categories.
Where: Goodyear Ballpark

AZ Field of Screams
Make your way through the haunted corn maze and watch out for gruesome ghouls lurking around each turn. This one can get a bit scary and is not recommended for children under the age of 10; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where: Tolmachoff Farms
5726 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85303
When: Every Friday and Saturday in October, 7-11pm
Cost: $15-$25

Halloween Monster Bash
A costume parade, carnival games, crafts, and a rock wall are just some of the activities families can enjoy at this City of Peoria event. The evening will include live entertainment and various food vendors.
Where: Peoria Sports Complex

When: October 26, 5-9pm
Cost: Free with canned food donation for St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance

Ghosts & Goodies
Take the kiddos trick-or-treating throughout the outdoor shopping center at participating Westgate restaurants and retailers. In addition to the “candy crawl,” this event features several hands-on experiences including a make-and-take slime station, creepy creature petting zoo, and face-your-fears challenge.

Halloween Screamfest (Estrella residents and their guests only)
This year, Estrella’s Starpointe Residents Club will be transformed into a haunted house and entertainment zone. Residents are sure to love the pumpkin decorating, inflatable corn maze, DJ, and food trucks.
Where: Starpointe Residents Club
When: October 18, 6-9pm
Cost: Tickets range from $5-$15

Residents are also encouraged to consider providing allergy-free and non-food treats (think bubbles, glowsticks, bouncy balls, stickers) as part of the FARE's Teal Pumpkin Project®. Those participating should place a teal-colored pumpkin to advertise their home as an allergy friendly trick-or-treat location. You can also list your address on the national map of participating households by clicking here.
