Rendering of Ladera park in Lucero

Ladera Park – Coming Soon To Lucero

Enjoying the great outdoors is one of the key elements to life in Estrella, and our new village of Lucero is no exception. In addition to featuring more than 10 miles of new trails, Lucero will be home to Ladera Park.

The 1.62-acre park will add to the more than 500 acres of family friendly parks and open space already featured throughout the community. Ladera will incorporate some new amenities along with tried and true park favorites.
Final details are still to come, but highlights include:

• A shaded playground with unique play equipment not found elsewhere in Estrella.

• Comfort station/restroom facility.

• A splash pad, which is one of the most highly anticipated amenities. This is the second for Estrella and the first one located in a community park; the other splash pad can be found at the Presidio Residents Club.

• Shaded picnic tables and a built-in barbeque area for fun family gatherings.

• A large open lawn area perfect for active play – think soccer practice, family football games, neighborhood baseball competitions, and plenty of space for perfecting cartwheels.

Sure to become a favorite spot for families in Estrella, construction is set to begin in Fall 2020 with hopes Ladera Park will be open by 2021.

Parks and trails aren’t the only amenities in Lucero, the community’s innovative welcome center, Casa Lucero, is located in the new village. The interactive space features multiple touch screen displays, a lifestyle button wall, and topographical table that depicts all the villages and available amenities in the community. Here potential residents will find a warm welcome and all of the information they need to understand why so many people choose life in Estrella.

Casa Lucero is also home to Café Bebida and Copper State Bike & Hike. Both are open to the public and have quickly become favorite stops for both Estrella residents and guests.
