Estrella July Events
While Estrella hosts a full calendar of activities that are only for community members (residents, please see the events calendar at lifeinestrella.com for the full list), a variety of events are also open to residents’ guests and non-residents alike. Come explore the wonderful Estrella community.
July 3: Star-Spangled Eve (open to the public)
Join us for music, food trucks, and a grand fireworks show from 6-9pm at the North Lake Amphitheater. Come early – parking, located in the dirt lot by the Estrella Information Center, fills up early. For more info: Star Spangled Eve.
July 5: Storytime (residents and their guests)
From 10:30am-11:15am at Starpointe, the July Storytime will feature “Frog on a Log” by Kes Gray and Jim Field. A light snack will be served at the end of the event.

July 9-13: StarMind Youth Program (open to the public)
Developed by Estrella resident Sarah Soltow (BA, BS, MA) – a certified school counselor in the Liberty Elementary School District – Igniting the StarMind features programming that encourage focus, intention, mindfulness, and self-knowledge. Activities include brain games, yoga, science day, and more! To learn more, or register for camp, call Sarah at 304-582-4264, or e-mail email@example.com. Camp will run from 9am-11am and be held at Starpointe Youth Club registration cost is $75 for the week.
July 20: Wine Glass Paint Night (residents only)
You've heard of wine and canvas, this time it's wine and stemware! Follow professionally led instruction and create two painted wine glasses. Snacks and beverages are included in the $25 registration fee. RSVP at Starpointe through July 6 or until the the session is is sold out! Event is for residents 21 and older and will be held from 6pm-8pm at Starpointe. Wine Glass Paint Night Registration.
July 23: Casino Trip (residents and their guests)
All aboard the bus to Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino! RSVP at Starpointe through July 15 (or until sold out). The free event is limited to the first 50 registrations, one guest per resident. The bus departs at 8:30am and returns to Estrella at 5pm.
July 26: Slide Rock Day Trip (residents and their guests)
Don't miss this field trip! We will escape the heat and head up north for a two-stop daytrip to Montezuma's Castle and Slide Rock Park. Transportation, entrance to both locations, and lunch will be included. The trip is $60 per person, max 2 guests per household. Chaperones will be provided for ages 9+ and children under 9 must be accompanied by a guardian 18 or older. Purchase wristbands at Starpointe through July 12 (or until sold out). The mini-voyage departs at 8am with an estimated return time of 5pm.
