The Estrella Mountain Car Club was founded in 2006 to bring people together with activities that demonstrate their commitment to preserve and share a love, knowledge and appreciation of any kind of custom, classic, street rod, antique, or special interest vehicles and to support their community. Club events include road trips, lunch cruises, attending car shows, and regularly scheduled club meetings.

Last year the Estrella Mountain Car Club hosted its first CruiZ’n to the Lakes Car Show at the amphitheater at North Lake in Estrella. The lakes at Estrella provided an extraordinary backdrop for over 200 cars and made this a unique event for car enthusiasts throughout the southwest valley.

The success of last year’s event raised enough money to provide two years’ worth of scholarships to Estrella Foothills High School students seeking technical training from the West-MEC School District. The club also supports community events including being part of local parades, hosting car shows at retirement homes in our area and supplying vehicles to display at Estrella events.
