Estrella February Events


While Estrella hosts a full calendar of activities that are only for community members (residents, please see the events calendar at for the full list), a variety of events are also open to residents, their guests, and non-residents alike. So come explore the wonderful Estrella community. 

February 10: Yacht Club Sailing Class (residents only)

Once a month, instructors from the Estrella Yacht Club offer residents hands-on sailing lessons on the beautiful Estrella North Lake. The lessons are first-come, first-serve. Sign-up begins around 9:45am and official lessons start at 10am. The age minimum is eight years old and instructors recommend residents bring the following list of items:

• water shoes
• hats that won’t blow off in the wind
• sunscreen
• disposable water bottles (don’t bring a fancy one in case you drop it!)

February 10-11: Cordoba Neighborhood Grand Opening (open to the public)

Join us for food, drinks and tours of Cordoba, our newest neighborhood in Estrella. The 6th William Ryan Homes neighborhood in the community, Cordoba boasts 83 new homes and features three single-level floorplans ranging from 2,455-4,207 square feet and starting in the low $300s.

February 17: Estrella Lakeside Farmers Market (open to the public)

Join us for our monthly farmers market from 10am - 1pm. Come out to North Lake to enjoy local fare, good company, and great shopping. Merchants from across the Valley will showcase specialty items, locally grown produce, fresh breads, pastries, local artwork, and more.

February 17: Estrella Community Blood Drive (open to the public)

Be a local hero – donate blood during our community drive. Please call (623) 386-1949 or visit (sponsor code “CommEstrella”) to make an appointment.

February 23: Drive-in Movie Double Feature Friday (residents and their guests)

You can’t have too much of a good thing. That’s why the first drive-in movie night of the year is a double feature. The community is showing “Cars 3” at 6:30pm, followed by “Field of Dreams” around 8:30pm. Passes are $15/car (max of 7 passengers) and are on sale at Starpointe. Food will be available for purchase from the Cactus Corn Food Truck.

February 25: Estrella Mountain Elementary PTO Color-a-Thon (open to the public)

Support local school + exercise + colored chalk = a fantastic time! For $30, participants will receive a custom t-shirt and will leave thoroughly covered in color. All proceeds will benefit one of our fantastic local schools. Register online.
