Annual Arizona Music Festivals
Estrella residents and fellow music junkies who can’t get enough live music enjoy the many Arizona music festivals throughout the year. With several events and a variety of genres to choose from, there is a festival for you. Check out some of the most popular music festivals in Arizona.
A West Valley and Estrella staple since 2013, the Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival a wide variety of local bands perform on two stages to create a day of music and fun. The fest also includes an interactive kids’ zone, a beer and wine garden, and food trucks. The popularity of the musical acts draws a large crowd from around the state. In 2017, more than 7,000 people attended, and that number is expected to grow each year.
Country music fans from around the nation flock to Arizona for Country Thunder, the three-day event that garners some of the biggest musicians and bands in the genre. Held each year in April, most attendees camp out on the festival grounds with tents or RVs and make the short walk to the concert areas. Major stars like Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, and Carrie Underwood are just some of the popular talents that have performed at Country Thunder.
McDowell Music Festival
Held in the Spring for the past fifteen years, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F) is one of the longest-running music events in Arizona. From local acts to popular headliners, the two-day festival has taken over Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix in recent years and is the perfect means to enjoy Arizona spring weather and great music.
Lost Lake Festival October
The inaugural event in 2017 was such a success the Lost Lake Music Festival continues to return to Indian Steel Park in Phoenix in the Fall. The multi-day festival features a weekend of music from a variety of genres, culinary demonstrations, games, and art displays.
