Estrella Mountain Car Club

One of the most fun groups in our community is the Estrella Mountain Car Club. Founded by residents in 2006, the club operates under the mission to inspire fellow auto enthusiasts, share knowledge, forge new friendships, and support the community. Members boast a wide-range of import and domestic vehicles from the 1930s to brand new – everything from antique cars and restored classics to hotrods and specialty cars.

The club will hold its first major event, the “2017 CruiZ’n to the Lakes” car show, on March 25 at the Starpointe Amphitheater, with North Lake creating a picturesque backdrop. This free, family-friendly event will feature 200 classic and specialty vehicles, food trucks, raffles, live entertainment, and more. Open to the public, the show will run 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., with awards presented at 2 p.m. Proceeds from the $25 registration fee will benefit Estrella Foothills High School and Western Arizona Education Center (West-Mec) students. If you miss CruiZ’n to the Lakes show, or just want to get another peek at the more than two dozen spectacular cars owned by our residents, stop by the Estrella community’s Safeway on the fourth Saturday of the month at 8 a.m. Members gather monthly September through June to socialize and display their vehicles. The Estrella Mountain Car Club also hosts a variety of road trips, attends car shows together, and organizes community fundraisers. These Saturday showcases are open to residents and non-residents alike.

With nearly 30 groups and clubs, Estrella residents never lack for something to do! Click here to read about a few of the other popular clubs in our community, or stop by the Information Center and let our resident ambassadors tell you everything you want to know about activities in Estrella.
