Westar Elementary School serves kindergarten through eighth grade. Great things are in the works for 2011 as Westar will shift focus to become a magnet school for the STEM Program, which allows students to focus on four areas of study: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, in addition to their other classes. With the help of a recent grant from VH1, Westar is developing tomorrow's star musicians, today. School website >
