Estrella to Host Taste of Estrella on Saturday, November 21st
The community of Estrella is proud to host the 2nd Annual “Taste of Estrella” event featuring seasonal favorites from the Valley’s finest chefs on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 1-5 p.m. Guests will experience Ranking Arizona’s best master-planned community while enjoying a culinary celebration! The event will feature cooking demonstrations and samplings by some of the Valley’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, including Eddie Matney (Eddie’s House), Rob Yedor (aka “Chef Dad”), Vincent Guerithault (Vincent on Camelback), and Scott Tompkins (SKYE Fine Dining and Live Entertainment). Guests will have an opportunity to tour Estrella’s model homes and experience this one-of-a-kind, resort-inspired community, while learning how to prepare the ultimate holiday cuisine. Vincent Guerithault, a prestigious James Beard award winner, will delight guests with a selection of French inspired seasonal hors d'oeuvres. Eddie Matney, voted number one chef in the Valley for five years running by Phoenix Magazine, will prepare his signature Thanksgiving feast giving guests useful cooking tips just in time for the holiday. Scott Tompkins, Executive Chef at the West Valley’s fine dining restaurant, will demonstrate how to prepare the ultimate holiday menu. Rob Yedor (aka Chef Dad), a regular guest chef on FOX 10 and NBC Channel 12, will provide a selection of scrumptious holiday desserts for event guests to sample. Following the culinary tour, guests can enter to win the grand prize, a dinner party for eight at Chef Eddie Matney’s Scottsdale restaurant, Eddie’s House.
