Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival celebrates 10 years with free concert April 13 at Estrella

Goodyear is the place to be for great music, food, and vibes on Saturday, April 13, as the Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival, sponsored by Estrella, celebrates its 10th anniversary. The festival, which is free to attend, will be held at the beautiful Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater at North Lake, 10300 Estrella Parkway, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The City of Goodyear and the community of Estrella have hosted the festival since 2015 and it’s become the signature event for our entire community.

This year’s festival features up-and-coming and established artists with an emphasis on Arizona talent from a variety of music for the family-friendly festival including reggae, country, rock, alternative rock, and pop.

Shop at the artisan vendor market, grab a bite to eat from one of 30 local food trucks and enjoy a cold one at the beer garden, sponsored by Saddle Mountain Brewing Company.

In addition to the great music, the festival will include family-friendly activities such as giant lawn games and a kids’ zone. This games section features giant lawn games including Jenga, chess, and checkers. Other games include Connect Four and cornhole.

Also on Saturday, April 13, seven neighborhoods at Estrella will have more than 40 new homes (models and move-in ready homes) to tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Home shoppers touring are encouraged to take pictures of themselves in at least eight kitchens of the homes they tour and then show those pictures at the Estrella booth at the music festival to receive a free glow prize.

The festival is free for all attendees. Lawn seating is first come, first serve. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Alcohol, umbrellas, and pets are not allowed. Please be sure to check the City of Goodyear events page for additional details. The festival lineup:

  • 6 p.m.:  Vana Liya | Reggae – Being of Caribbean descent, Vana Liya was surrounded by soca, calypso, dancehall and reggae music. Vana’s mom gave her a ukulele for Christmas and a few years later she began covering songs by some of her favorite artists.
