As we searched for a second home, we wanted to belong to a community. That’s why Estrella was the perfect fit, and we knew it the moment we arrived. It just felt right. We love spending the winters outdoors: swimming, golfing, walking, canoeing. And best of all, we’ve already established lasting friendships that we can’t wait to renew each time we come down from Calgary.

We decided on building a new home in Estrella because the cost was relative to the price of a used home. We have a wonderful view of the desert and the mountains, and love the walking and bicycle paths down to the clubhouse. Our favorite thing is the scenery and quietness of the area. Once we can get down from Canada for the whole winter, we look forward to spending more time there.

We bought in Estrella because of its beauty, peacefulness and amenities like tennis courts, bike trails and golf course. We love the mountain views, clean air, wide-open spaces and gorgeous wide-open night sky.  Everywhere we walk, bike or drive, we see the Estrella mountains.  Always in different hues depending on the light shining on them. The Saguaro cacti dot the landscape so beautifully. We’re just so happy to be a part of Estrella.
