Have questions? The New Resident Orientation Has Answers
Sunday, May 1, 2016
Moving to a new community can be overwhelming, but our New Resident Orientation program will help you get a leg-up on the ins and outs of the community. We are committed to making this process simple and informative, and helping residents feel comfortable with their new community is our main goal.
The two-hour sessions are conducted by Estrella’s awesome Community Management Association (CCMC) staff. You’ll hear from the Community Manager, Operations Manager, Lifestyle Director, Lifestyle Coordinator, and the Communications Coordinator.
These individual will discuss their area of expertise and introduce you to all that Estrella has to offer. Here is some insider information on what you can expect to learn during your session:
Overview of Estrella:
Learn a bit of history and basic information about our community including demographics, variety of homes, financial assessments and more. This is your opportunity to get some background on where the community comes from and what we hope to accomplish in the future. You will also learn about the role of the HOA, community management systems and governance structures.
Did You Know: Estrella’s two lakes were completed three years prior to the community’s grand opening?
Next, you will get an inside look at all of the community’s wonderful amenities. Some of our favorites include North and South Lake, the Yacht Club, Bougainvillea Park, courts for Pickleball, tennis, basketball and volleyball, and a large network of hiking and biking trails. You will also learn about an exciting addition to the community, the brand new resident’s club, Presidio.
Fun Fact: Estrella’s network of hiking trails and paths extend for more than 20 miles.
Lifestyle activities and events:
The mark of a great community is the social activities available to bring neighbors together. There is a wide variety of resident clubs, classes and activities offered at Starpointe, and a multitude of community events. Explore your passion or learn something new with Estrella’s diverse lifestyle offerings.
Insider Tip: The Yacht Club offers free sailing lessons on the second Saturday of the month.
Getting Involved at Estrella:
Our residents are dedicated to doing their part to improve the community and there are a variety of active committees and volunteer groups in Estrella. The Estrella Trails Committee works to expand the network of trails and bike paths and maintain and improve existing trails. The Estrella Super Heroes are a group of volunteers that spend their free time planning resident events, charity fundraisers, toy drives, and more. Call the residents club at 623-386-1112 to learn how to get involved.
