Places Your Furry Friend Will Enjoy

Our furry companions are an important part of the family and at Estrella we understand that once in a while your pets need to get out of the yard to explore our great community with you. If you’re looking for fun places to take a walk with Fido we’ve got you covered.

Estrella’s North Lake features dog-friendly grassy areas where your beloved pet can join you on a leisurely stroll or scenic jog. Our 20+ miles of hiking paths, and neighboring Estrella Mountain Regional Park, are also great places to explore the area’s beautiful scenery, just remember to keep your dog on a leash.

Don’t forget about the dog park at our 55-Plus community, CantaMia, where your pet can romp while you can get to know your two-legged and four-legged neighbors.

Just down the hill from Estrella you’ll find two fenced-in areas where dogs can run off leash at Roscoe Dog Park in Goodyear. There are also drinking fountains, waste baggies, benches, and lighting for evening frolics.

As the weather heats up remember to keep your pet safe. If the sidewalk is too hot for you to walk barefoot, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws too.  And since Arizona has so many days of sunshine, please never keep your furry friend in the car while you run a few errands, as the interior of a car can reach triple digits more quickly than most people imagine.
