Golf Club of Estrella Tops Golfweek’s List of
“America's Best Courses - State-By-State"
The Troon Golf-managed course in Goodyear ranked amongst best in Arizona
Golfweek recently announced Golf Club of Estrella placed seventh in its 2008 “America’s Best Courses: State-by-State” rankings, and is the only public golf course in Phoenix’s West Valley to rank in the top ten.
Located in Estrella by Newland Communities, this 18-hole, par-72 championship course is a Nicklaus-designed course covering 7,102 yards of the Sonoran Desert Valley. Managed by Troon Golf, Golf Club of Estrella incorporates its natural desert surroundings into the design and layout of the greens and fairways, with several shots coming into play over spectacular desert settings. Golfers are truly impressed with this challenging course that offers multiple tees to accommodate all playing levels.
“We are honored to once again be ranked by Golfweek amongst the many outstanding courses in the state,” said Steve Leonard, general manager of the Golf Club of Estrella. “To consistently be ranked by such a reputable establishment like Golfweek is a true testament to the quality, service and beauty that Golf Club of Estrella provides.”
Golf Club of Estrella features stunning views with emerald fairways that blanket the natural contours of the land with a backdrop of the beautiful Sierra Estrella Mountains. Guests are treated like a member of a private club with the extraordinary service golfers have come to expect from a Troon Golf-managed facility.
