
Estrella by Newland Communities, located in Goodyear, Ariz., was recently voted the number one master-planned community in Arizona by Ranking Arizona. This marks the fourth year in a row that Estrella has received this accolade.
Ranking Arizona is the outcome of the largest business opinion poll in Arizona. Each category is selected by the staff of Arizona Business Magazine for the general public to vote on and is based upon business and leisure activities of Arizona's business professionals. Thousands of individuals cast their vote each year during Ranking Arizona’s open call for the public’s opinion with more than 200 different categories open for public ranking.

Estrella provides a one-of-a-kind lakeside mountain setting and resort-style amenities. Combining mountain beauty, 72 acres of lakes, and hundreds of acres of open space, it is no wonder that Estrella continues to be selected as Ranking Arizona’s “Best Master-Planned Community.” The Starpointe Residents Club, located on the shore of Estrella’s North Lake, offers residents and their guests over 24,000 square feet of activity. In 2008, Newland Communities purchased 3,000 additional acres for the expansion of the Estrella community and broke ground on Mountain Ranch Marketplace, Estrella’s first major retail center. The Shoppes at Market Ranch by the Bade Companies will also add 42,000 square feet and five new buildings of commercial office space to the area. Both new shopping centers will bring more convenient shopping choices to residents, further enhancing the quality of life at Estrella.
