RENOWNED VALLEY CHEFS BRING EXCITING NEW FLAVORS TO “TASTE OF ESTRELLA”  

Estrella’s 3^rd Annual Tasting Event Helps Celebrate Its Tremendous Growth  

GOODYEAR, Arizona (August 23, 2010) -- Nine well-known Valley chefs will bring their culinary talents to the 2010 “Taste of Estrella” on Saturday, November 6^th (1pm - 4pm) amid the beautiful ambienceof the unique resort-inspired Estrella community. Chefs from such highly regarded Valley restaurants as Eddie’s House, Christopher’s and Cielo will put their own spin on delectable holiday dishes, and guests will have a chance to partake in the offerings.  Mixing and mingling with the chefs is part of the festivities, and some chefs often share their recipe secrets with guests, allowing them to enhance their own holiday food creations. 

Besides enjoying a marvelous sampling of food, event guests will be able to tour Estrella’s newest neighborhoods, a new active adult community, and even get a look at some exciting new floor plans. Estrella has enjoyed remarkable growth over the past year and the “Taste of Estrella” is a perfect way to celebrate the community’s ongoing success.  Three new builders – Maracay Homes, Richmond American Homes and Joseph Carl Homes – have become part of the Estrella community since last year’s ‘Taste,’ along with the new active adult community of CantaMia.  Model homes for all builders, including Ashton Woods, Rosewood Homes, Taylor Morrison and William Ryan Homes, will be open prior to the tasting as well as during the event.    

The 2010 “Taste of Estrella” will feature the following Valley chefs:

• Chef Comer Smith of Cielo Restaurant at the Hotel Theodore
• Chef Vincent of Vincent’s
• Chef Rob Luna of Rhythm and Wine
• Chef Terry Craig of Jalapeno Inferno
• Chef Christopher Gross of Christopher’s and Crush Lounge
• Chef Eddie Matney of Eddie’s House (who will prepare his famed Thanksgiving feast)
• Chef Tiger, protégé of Eddie’s House
• Chef Dad, a popular local television personality, and
• Chef Daniel Santos of the newly opened Nourish, who will showcase deliciously healthy and gluten-free holiday fare.
