Goodyear Master-Planned Community Responds to Increased Demand in Housing Market
Goodyear, Ariz. (September 10, 2013) – Newland Communities continues to enjoy steady growth in its Goodyear master-planned community of Estrella and is increasing inventory to meet rising demand. Recently T.W. Lewis by David Weekley Homes, William Ryan Homes and Shea Homes announced their plans to build a total of 355 new homes in the community.
T.W. Lewis by David Weekley Homes has begun preparing its 65.8 acre parcel to build 167 homes in its new gated neighborhood of Golf Canyon along Estrella’s award-winning Nicklaus-Design Golf Course. Homes will range in size from approximately 2,100 square-feet to 3,800 square-feet on a choice of 60 or 80 foot wide lots with additional lifestyle amenities for buyers to select from, including basements. This will be T.W. Lewis’ fifth neighborhood in the community and models are slated to open by the end of the year.
Another builder, William Ryan Homes, has purchased 78 homesites along the course for Golf Ridge, its new gated neighborhood. William Ryan Homes has built and closed more than 200 homes in Estrella since 2008 and is currently close to selling out its existing three Estrella neighborhoods. The new neighborhood will open in late 2013 and will feature 55 foot wide lots and four different floor plans, all of which include solar.
Shea Homes will make its debut in Estrella with 110 homesites on 60 foot wide lots. Models are currently slated to open sometime in 2014. The well respected, family owned builder prides itself on providing energy-wise, eco-friendly designs and quality home construction.

Newland is currently in negotiations with several nationally recognized builders to bring another 345 lots to the market in 2014. The developer has also begun the zoning and approval process on 620 acres of land at the community’s entrance. The new development will feature a wide variety of lot sizes to meet the current demand in the market place and will boast nearly 300 acres of open space and trails.
