Since becoming a principal, first at Estrella Mountain and now Westar Elementary, I've realized that schools are a focal point of this community. We've stepped up our efforts with innovative programs such as STEM Magnet Program and a VH1 music department, helping to ensure our students are on the path to success.

We grew tired of Ohio winters and retired to Phoenix. After searching the entire Valley, we discovered the lakes and the Golf Club of Estrella™, and we knew we'd found home. The small town community lifestyle and being closer to family convinced our daughter and son-in-law to move here, so now we see our grandkids all the time.

Chris' job with Lockheed Martin brought us from Tucson to Goodyear. When we arrived to beautiful palm trees, lakes and mountains, we knew we had to live here. From the moment we moved in, our neighbors took us in with open arms, having picnics at South Lake Park, and soon-to-be legendary bicycle block parties.
